Dude! I'm not your timetable! I am a PERSON!!

Some REGULARS from my class have been messaging me on Facebook, asking 'What do have tomorrow?' Ummm.... Get a new timetable! It's probably because I am one of the most reliant people in my class, that you can trust that I WON'T lose my class timetable. I am human too! I always find running to my bag to get my timetable so I can tell you what we have the next. And these people who ask for help with timetables are people that BARELY talk to me. Stop being so dependent on me... One day my dog might chew up my timetable, someone else in my household might mistake it for a piece of scrap paper, you never know... Get be reliant on yourself for a change.

Well I healed surprisingly quick...

So, I don't feel that bad about finishing The Hunger Games anymore. Harry Potter took a lot longer to get used to the idea of it being over. But for The Hunger Games there are still three movies to be made. And they will come. Now I'm reading Jane Eyre, not one of the easiest books to get into. I really want to get started on The Maze Runner, but unfortunetly you can't buy it on Kindle, you can buy it on Amazon, just not on Amazon Kindle. Dumb Bums.
But it only took a good Marathon of MTV's AWKWARD. to heal me.

Apparently The Maze Runner is a bit like The Hunger Games except they have no recolection of their lives before the maze. The third book is already out and I feel so behind on the times and I hate that feeling, because I'm always one of the unlucky ones to get it. And I can't just take a simple trip down to the Library because the Library is closed on Sundays. Thank goodness for that, because I just realised I could look up (on the Library website) whether the Library even HAS The Maze Runner, wouldn't THAT have been a waste of my time!?

Sometimes I wish I could forget it all together and do it again.

And I'm not talking about regrets. The only thing I regret is not starting The Hunger Games sooner.
I wish I could read it again, which I could, but it wouldn't be the same. I would know what's happening next.
I just want to forget it all together to start the adventure all over again, the same with Harry Potter.
Personally my favourite in the series is the first book. I expected Catching Fire to be the main character (Katniss) and Peeta to be the mentors for the new tributes, and then Mockingjay to be them going back into the arena or something like that. I was wrong.
My favourite character is Prim, but I didn't realise it until the last book, when um... she... *sobs*. Okay, so I'm not entirely giving it away, but those who have read the book probably know what I'm talking about. And I made it fairly obvious, so some others might know what I mean as well.
So I thought after I finished The Hunger Games, I would read Jane Eyre since I've seen the movie.
But right now I feel like a should heal before I start reading another book. Hopefully when The Hunger Games movie comes out it is awesome and I have a tad bit of closure.

But also one thing that is really bothering me is when people go off about the 'Cast'. Like who is playing who. And I HATE that, it takes away the idea of the character being relatible. Being a real person rather that made up people, but with all this thing about the 'cast' ruins it. That's why I don't watch behind the scenes on DVD anymore. It ruins the character. The story. Think about that before you come up to me asking me about what I think of the cast and who should've played that character instead.
And I also hate it when people criticise the book/movie and how it should've been instead. NO. They worked so hard on that and you go off about how it should've been different. This especially happened with Harry Potter, but JK Rowling has had SO much say in the making of the movies, I'm pretty sure she might've been a part of or at least agreed to those changes.

New Direction... Oops no, One Direction. GETS ME EVERY TIME!

So I didn't really know what this whole One Direction thing is about, so today in Social Studies, I was bored and decided to look them up on Youtube (I have finished my work) and I looked up a song that I had assumed was sung by them (What Makes You Beautiful).
And I also found the members names are.... Louis, Niall, Harry, Zayn and Liam.
Which is weird because I am related to TWO people named Harry (will one is just nicknamed Harry but still). And I am also related to a person called Niall, spelt exactly the same. And Niall is an uncommon name to come by. I can't exactly say I'm a fan yet, since I've only listened to two songs by them and one of them I don't really like (the song I DO kind of like has already been mentioned in this post, I forgot the name of the song I didn't like). At first I thought Niall was the best looking (which was weird for me, considering I am related to a Niall), but then I looked up Louis and thought he was wwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy hotter, just saying. No offence Nialls'.

PS I had my birthday on the 19th (nearly a whole week ago).
I think I might post what I got after this post. And I feel weird having my blog birthday themed when all the birthdays have finished for this month, and it isn't just quite christmas time yet. But it feels like such a short space of time to go back to the usual theme.

Sunday 13 November 2011

Yes, I'm am clumsy. No, I think I can handle this one.

So on Saturday, I was helping out at a wedding party. No one got married, because the people who it was for, their marriage was in like South East Asia on a beach.
And I was helping with the dishes. And it was our (our being = me and some other people I know) job to help with dishes. And some lady kept coming in and doing it herself. And I was the hired help. But if I walked off she'll be all "ALICE!! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" (okay, maybe not that loud.)
And I'll be all "Well you're doing all the work, what am I supposed to do?" (I'd mumble that).
And then she will go "Well come here then." But it didn't go that way, I just waited until she gave someone a dish ready to be dried and I stole her spot. And then I moved onto drying the plates and then the cutlery. And since the cutlery was smaller it was like, easy to slip out of the tea towel that I was using to dry them.
I think things slipped out at least two times, maximum three. Next we moved onto drying the serving plates. And I was drying a kind of heavy, china, bowlish-plate thing. And we needed a place to put the clean, dry serving plates. So my workmate was clearing up the space, and I was still cleaning the heavy plate-ish - bowl thing, not because it was still wet, but there was nowhere to put it. And my (other) workmate took it off me and said "Mum will be so mad if this broke." Are you implying that I will break this plate? Yes, I know, I'm clumsy. But I not going to go breaking your mothers plate. I think I am more careful than that.
And we all (well most of us) got into an argument about a babysitting job I was going to do. And even though one of my (other (so far unmentioned)) workmates seemed to be arguing against me, I was actually on her side. The workmate who took the big heavy bowl-plate off me was kind of standing up for me, but not really (kind of more for herself). And then the unmentioned workmate and I cleared up about things we said that might've heard differently, sounded how it wasn't meant to (since we were kind of versing each other, but also kind of on the same side). But my unmentioned workmate spent most of the rest of that session mad at bowl-plate stealer.

Friday 11 November 2011

I might as well go die in a hole now.

I missed 11/11/11 11:11. Both times. Yes, I was awake on the day. But I missed the 11:11 parts.
First time I just didn't happen to be near a clock at that time. Second time I set an alarm, but I fell asleep. And the alarm didn't wake me up. So I woke up this morning with my lamp still on, my laundry down inbetween the wall and my bed and I for some reason had a painful buttcheek and neck.
I honestly did not know how that happened.

Theming my Blog!

So, I just went from Halloween themed blog to Birthday themed, because my Mum's birthday is tomorrow (2nd of November) and then it is my birthday on the 19th of November (Mother-Daughter Scorpio buddies!!). And then it's leaving school time (how about a High School Musical 2 theme then?(NZ's christmas holidays are also the summer holidays)) theme? Then Christmas, then New Years. And then starting school time. A lot of themes to go through. Phew!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!!
P.S. Sorry the colours in the theme don't quite match, but oh well, celebration has no colour :)
